For about a decade I was suffering with a really bad shoulder, knee and neck, which lead to so many complications. Every orthopedic doctor would either prescribe medication or pass it off as nothing and say that I had to rest. I was so glad to take a "crack" at sessions with Dr. Vlad at Baseline. The first session was an eye opener as he spent almost half an hour explaining everything that was wrong and how to fix it. It was an approach where he was determined that I should reduce my time in the clinic and learn to manage my pain through well instructed physio.Within the first session, my knee was much better. He was exceptionally accurate at finding the source of all my issues and giving me the right exercise to work with. It's been about a year since I have been visiting and I can honestly say that I never thought I would be pain free or at least understand why certain issues were popping up. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who cannot find a solution through mainstream medication to give the mix of a chiropractor and physio a try, and I think I am safe in assuming that Dr. Vlad and Baseline is the best to go to.

I was in a lot of chronic pain, (neck, back, shoulders), before visiting Baseline Health and Wellness in March 2024. I had just been turned down by the spine clinic telling me the risks outweigh the benefits in my case for surgery. Then i came across baseline Health and Wellness on Instagram. I was skeptical it was going to do anything for me since I had already tried everything, accupuncture, physio, chiro, massage for 2 decades.I would have never imagined relief to the degree that i can walk, drive and move around relatively pain free within a couple of sessions.Dr. Klad is incredible and not only treats you but teaches you how to maintain and improve on what he does. The “rest position” he taught me in my first session brings me immediate relief when i overdo things.Sharon Wu, Acupuncturist is a miracle worker. She pretty much cured my shoulder and mid back (between shoulder blades) pain in two sessions. She does not put needles in you and walk away, she stays with you and works on you with massage and acupressure at the same time. Sharon Wu has an incredibly calming, soothing and healing presence and works with love. Today i was able to dance for the first time in years. While I look forward to my next session. I had my initial session with Wendy and I really enjoyed the experience at Baseline. I arrived late feeling anxious but was greeted by warm and friendly staff. Wendy was gentle, calm, patient and professional. She offered a session of acupuncture and cupping after diagnosing my situation. I loved that she also explained my problems to me. While I had a quiet 10 mins rest alone, I was given a bell button to press in case I feel any discomfort. When treatment was over, Wendy offered me a cup of water. After payment, I was given a handwritten card with a teabag. I think little things like these shows that Baseline is very thoughtful and tends to patients needs. The clinic is pleasant, neat and clean. I would definitely return to follow up.

5/5 for Dr vlad and the whole baseline wellness team. Vlad's style of chiropractic treatment is very focused on education as well as treatment. Rather than just hearing what you're dealing with and going directly for the adjustment, he explains how your muscles and joints work together which could be resulting in your discomfort. Rather than just making the adjustment and sending you on your way, they equip you with a plan with some exercises to strengthen the weaknesses that led to your pains.

Dr. Vlad is an amazing person and phenomenal doctor. Any hesitation, preconceived notions, or doubts I had immediately dissolved from the moment I walked through the door.I’m a pretty “anti-doctor” type of person as I have honestly never really received any actual help from any doctor for anything I have struggled with throughout my life, however when it came to my jaw pain, as stubborn as I was and convinced that I “fixed” it all by myself (I didn’t), i came to realize that there were just certain aspects of my issue that I quite literally didn’t have the tools to fully heal/fix/cater to on my own (and I really really tried everything). Then I, by the grace of GOD, was recommend to Dr. Vlad, and my perspective was transformed, as he offered literally exactly what I was looking for and required: A holistic approach.He specifically caters to the needs of each patient to ensure long term relief and prevention rather than simply an “immediate fix”. However in my, and I’m sure most cases, immediate relief was also provided. He helped me with my jaw pain that had been ongoing for years and showed me exercises to prevent it from happening again. He is just awesome, as well as extremely professional and empathetic. I couldn’t recommend him more to anyone and everyone. He is one of the few people I can say without a hesitation or doubt is in the field that he’s in with the sole intent and purpose to HEAL. He is extremely intelligent and could easily make way way more money in any other field but has chosen to blessed the world with his healing hands.So go and book your appointment right now! Even if you don’t “think” there’s anything wrong with you/your posture/stature etc. etc. there more than likely IS, however he can and will HEAL YOU. It is invaluable what I learned from Dr. Vlad in just 4 sessions and recovering in just one month! I was suffering for 3 months with intense upper back pain that would make any activity, even sitting, painful. The sessions not only involved adjustments but also straight forward steps in improving breathing, strengthening the core, posture and exercises. Everything he explained would happen did and gradually I had more and more pain free days. I'm keeping up with the daily exercises and if I was still around Vancouver I would keep going as every session I learned more about my body and how to change my bad habits. I'm very grateful and it's absolutely worth it when you will use this information for all your life!

Jenine is fantastic to work with! She completely transformed my back ... as in now I don't suffer from terrible back pain.
