Dr. Au is certified by the national chiropractic examining boards of Canada (British Columbia) and United States. He is a member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association, British columbia College of Chiropractic and Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Kody Au graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. He worked at Burnaby Hospital on the Acute Medicine and Stroke ward shortly after graduating. In 2015, Dr. Kody Au obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences and a Doctor of Chiropractic graduating with Magna Cum Laude Honors from the University of Western States.

Kody has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He has a special interest in sports related injuries where he applies extensive assessment, traditional chiropractic therapy, and cutting edge rehabilitation techniques.

Kody has played volleyball competitively in high school and continues to play recreationally till this day. He is also currently a member and sponsor of the Vancouver Dodgeball League. By being active his whole life, Kody has a special appreciation towards sports and athletics. He seeks to allow individuals of all ages to continue their activities as long as possible.

In his practice, Peter uses a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, and active/passive stretching, to address each patient’s unique needs. Samara is Baseline’s amazing virtual assistant who answers a lot of phone calls and helps clients to schedule on the phone. You will meet her on the screen when you attend your appointments in Vancouver and you may be assisted by her in Burnaby as well! Samara is based in Guatemala and is a important part of our Baseline Team!

Samara holds a degree in Clinical Psychology and completed a specialization in Nutritional
Pathologies at the European University of the Atlantic in Spain. She has four years of experience in
the insurance industry, including three years in sales, where she has developed a strong foundation
and expertise in the field.
In addition to her work in insurance, Samara has experience supporting both children and adults in
their mental health journeys, emphasizing the importance of self-care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, exploring nature, connecting

Sharon graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and minor in Psychology. She started her career in Neuroscience research and then moved from bench to clinical by pursuing the study in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture in Hong Kong. She enjoys finding the solution to the body’s mysteries, and feels a great sense of fulfilment when she sees patients recovering.

She utilized acupuncture and cupping, gua sha, electroacupuncture, as well as auricular acupressure to treat a wide range of conditions, such as musculoskeletal injuries and internal illnesses.

During your initial intake appointment, our chiropractor will take a comprehensive history of your complaint, perform a physical and orthopedic assessment of the region, screen for any serious diseases and pathology, assess you for biopsychosocial factors contributing to the issue, recommend exercises and stretches, and educate you on what your body is going through. 2How long are the visits?
Initial visits are usually 60 minutes long and generally include treatment (if needed) as well as one-on-one rehabilitation exercises at the end of the session. Follow-up chiropractic sessions are 20-30 minutes long and treatment includes one-on-one rehabilitation exercises as well.
3What types of injuries can a chiropractor help with?
Chiropractors specialize in treating the nervous system, muscular pains and strains, ligamentous sprains, and joint/bone restrictions. Injuries can be current (new) or have been there for a long time (chronic). Symptoms can come suddenly or seem to be unprovoked, or they might get worse over time. Your chiropractor will work with you to address the immediate causes of your discomfort and work with you to prevent a recurrence, no matter how long your symptoms last.
