May 15, 2020TMJ conditions and Jaw pain
July 4, 2020Dear Clients of Baseline Health and Wellness,
We are happy to announce that although restrictions are tightening with the province, we are still here to provide care for your health needs. We remain at #202 – 718 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z1G8, Vancouver (Broadway & Heather).
As a review:
We have established new protocols and are following the guidelines that our colleges and associations, WorkPlace BC, and the BC Public Health Officers have developed.
This includes a Plexiglas guard barrier at reception, new screening and cleaning protocols, and provider Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
All staff and practitioners at Baseline Health and Wellness Inc. are required to follow the expectations for infection prevention and control as they resume to work. We must remember that this is the start of a transition and intended to be a careful restart in adhering to the requirements of our “new normal”.
All standards and protocols are created to ensure safe and timely care for our clients. We have added the following protocols and what you can expect at your next in-person visit:
-
A COVID-19 assessment is required the day before your appointment and found in your email from Baseline Health and Wellness. These questions will also be asked in person upon entering the clinic.
-
Please download the BC COVID self-assessment app or complete the BC COVID-19 Symptom Self-Assessment Tool (www.bc.thrive.health) and have your assessment completed prior to entering the clinic. If your assessment indicates that you are/could be unwell, you must inform the clinic and reschedule your appointment. You will not be charged for cancellation due to illness.
-
To allow for social distancing within the waiting area, please do not move the chairs in the waiting room.
-
To comply with the BC social distancing guidelines, we are asking that only appointed clients enter the office. If you are a minor, we ask that only 1 accompanying adult be present for the appointment.
-
Please arrive at your appointment wearing a mask. If you do not have a mask, you may purchase one for $2 in our clinic.
-
Our providers will be wearing a medical mask during each session with every client. Providers will practice proper hand washing between each client, and will thoroughly disinfect equipment and rooms between each appointment. Discard any gloves used outside of the clinic prior to entering the office.
-
Please use hand sanitizer upon entry and exit of the office, this will be supplied
-
We will be taking your temperature upon entry with our touchless thermometer. (Clients showing signs of illness/fever over 38.0 C will be asked to reschedule their appointment.)
-
No non-essential belongings, food/beverage or bikes will be allowed in the clinic.
-
No companion or pets allowed inside the clinic (unless it is a service requirement)
-
No water jug access
-
No bathroom access unless it is urgent (we ask clients to use the bathroom prior to leaving to attend their appointment)
-
Due to a very scheduled system, we do require you to be on time for your appointment and dressed for treatment.
-
Online payments (new system) will be the desired payment, however, card payments and e-transfers will be the next optimal choice. Cash will only be accepted if there are no other options available.
